Producer Ryan Murphy has said the seventh season of "American Horror Story" will be based on the 2016 US Presidential elections.
The next installment will be based on November 8, 2016 polls, where current President Donald Trump pulled off a surprise victory over Hillary Clinton, reported Variety.
"Well, I don't have a title, but the season we begin shooting in June is going to be about the election that we just went through. So, I think that will be interesting for a lot of people," Murphy said on "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen".
The producer also hinted a character based on Trump "maybe" included in the show.
Season seven's shooting will commence in June, laced with Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters' return.
