New Delhi:

Avengers: Endgame is officially getting re-released! The original cut which ran for three hours long when it was first released in cinemas in April will now be released with new scenes that were not released in the original footage. MCU head Kevin Feige while attending the Spider-Man: Far From Home press junket in London confirmed that Avengers: Endgame was heading back to the big screen for a theatrical re-release with extra scenes that weren't included in the first theatrical release according to an exclusive report by ComicBook.

"We are doing that," Feige said of an Endgame re-release with new footage. "I don't know if it's been announced. And I don't know how much... Yeah, we're doing it next weekend’ Feige said.

In an interview with Screenrant, at the same event, Feige dropped a few more details about the re-release with deleted scenes, a tribute, and some “extra surprises” for fans who stick around.

[It’s] not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend’’ Feige told the entertainment website.

What is even better is that, Endgame with its never-seen-before footages is coming to the big screen next weekend which will be followed by Spider-Man: Far From Home. So, yes, we are going on a Marvel spree all over again!

"Avengers" sequel amassed $2.743 billion globally through Monday of this week, according to the website Boxofficemojo, $44 million behind "Avatar," director James Cameron's 2009 sci-fi epic. Now that Feige has confirmed the re-releasing of Endgame with footages that didn’t make it to its first release, the Marvel blockbuster film might be able to beat Avatar's massive box office record after all.
