One among the most prominent question after the San Diego Comic Con was if Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow will have Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye in the film. Speaking to Good Morning America, Johansson for the MCU-phase 4 line-up reveal admits that going solo presents a new kind of challenge for her as an actor. “You know it’s a little bit scary not having the kind of cushion of my fellow Avengers around,” Johansson says. “I mean, I hate to keep using the word ‘vulnerable,’ but you kind of feel like you've put yourself out there in a different way because the character stands on her own.”
Throughout all of her MCU film such as Iron Man movies, Captain America movies, and Avengers movies, Natasha Romanoff’s strongest bond has been with Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye. Provided their strong bond and both as once being a part of S.H.I.E.L.D, it only seems fair for fans to wonder if the two will once again be sharing the big screen together. On presenting her with the question, Johansson chose to keep a tight-lip.
“That’s when you see the tranq gun come out, “Johansson jokes. “My lips are sealed. You got to wait and see’’ she added. MCU at the San Diego Comic-Con 2019, presented the MCU Phase 4 line-up which is to begin with Black Widow, to be directed by Cate Shortland. The film will once again see Scarlett Johansson return as Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow, David Harbour as Alexei aka The Red Guardian, Florence Pugh as Yelena, O-T Fagbenle as Mason, and Rachel Weisz as Melina.
