Rami Malek and Daniel Craig? What can go wrong? Well, that is, if reports are true. As per rumours, the Oscar Award winner for Best Actor in Bohemian Rhapsody is in final negotiations to play the antagonist in the latest installment of James Bond franchise. Daniel Craig, who will come back as the 007 British spy in the still-untitled Bond 25 will be facing off against a villain to be played by recent Oscar winner Rami Malek.
It was being reported earlier that Malek was being eyed for the villain role, but his schedule on the last season of his breakout show Mr. Robot which shoots from March through July, was a hindrance.
According to Collider, Rami Malek will play the baddie in the new film, which will be directed by Beasts of No Nation helmer Cary Joji Fukunaga who came onboard as a director after Danny Boyle exited the project over "creative differences".
The yet-untitled film will mark Daniel Craig's fifth and possibly the last outing as the famed British spy.
