Bradley Cooper’s very promising directorial debut in ‘A Star Is Born’ has caught the attention of some big-name producers and now his biological drama, Leonard Bernstein, which is a follow up of the 8 Oscars nod movie will be setting up a shop at Netflix after first being developed at Paramount. Netflix has acquired the rights to a film about the late American composer Leonard Bernstein, focusing on his relationship with wife Felicia Montealegre. Just as in A Star Is Born, the talented blue-eyed, Bradley Cooper who co-wrote the script along with Oscar winner Josh Singer will star, direct and also produce.
The project which was at work since 2018 will also attach big-name producers-Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, and “Joker” director Todd Phillips.

"Bradley's directorial debut was nothing short of brilliant and he quickly cemented himself as a serious filmmaker.

The Bernstein film is expected to begin production early next year and Netflix will give it a significant theatrical release before the film premieres on its streaming site, according to Deadline.
