Breaking Bad widely regarded as one of the greatest television series of all time may finally find space in big screen. The crime drama fused with black comedy and explosive conclusion takes a toll on fans only to make them intoxicated with it.
The show follows Walter White’s descent into the grimy criminal underworld of drugs after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.The Breaking Bad series ended in 2013 much to the disappointment of fans, after five seasons, starring Bryan Cranston aka Walter White as a chemistry teacher.

However, there is a ray of hope for the crime-loving fans because creator, Vince Gilligan has finally confirmed the works on the movie. Currently, the movie is being called Greenbrier. And, according to the Albuquerque Journal, the movie is believed to start in a few weeks’ time in New Mexico and will run until February. Greenbrier which is the adaptation of the Breaking Bad series tells the story of a man who is kidnapped and his quest for independence.

And there has been speculations that scenario could link to Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), who was last seen on screen escaping from a meth lab where he had been pinned down against his will.However, while the creation of the movie is at works, Vince Gillian hasn’t yet confirmed about whether the two-hour film will be for the big screen or TV. And, Gilligan is definitely loving teasing the fans, as film details are pretty sparse. There hasn’t been much insight on when the film will be set, or whether the movie like the series will have their own sequel.
The New Mexico Film Office confirms the filming schedule
The New Mexico Film Office confirmed the filming schedule to the paper, but did not confirm whether it would be linked to the Breaking Bad franchise. Reports have it that over the summer, Gilligan had signed a three-year deal with Sony Pictures TV after strong interest from other studios to helm the hottest showrunner around until the confirmation of the movie this week.
Gilligan will be the screenwriter, executive producer and maybe even screenwriter of the project, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Breaking Bad and its spin-off, Better Call Saul producers Melissa Bernstein and Mark Johnson have also been linked to the film. So, you can imagine that two meth cook and dealer crooks with Huell the bodyguard, assistant, and pickpocket for Saul Goodman will make a good return.
