"Bridesmaids" star Kristen Wiig and her co-writer Annie Mumolo are working on a new comedy about two troubled women.
Mumolo said that the project has "a different tone from'Bridesmaids'", and she and Wiig will portray the women, reported Contactmusic.
"We're writing it for the two of us to be in," Mumolo said.
Mumolo also confirmed she is co-writing "a modern day adaptation of Auntie Mame" for Tilda Swinton with Moneyball screenwriter Stan Chervin, adding, "It's taken from the book, so it's a very different tone of other movie versions that were made."
