As surprising as it may sound, Brie Larson still has to pay for a Disney + Subscription like the rest of us. The Oscar winner who has appeared in two of Disney owned Marvels’ biggest hits, Captain Marvel and the record-breaking Avengers: Endgame expressed how she wanted a free subscription from Disney. Appearing at The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she joked that she's been waiting for Disney to waive her subscription fee on its new streaming service.
"You know, I don't even have a Disney+ account," she told host Ellen DeGeneres . And when asked by Ellen that they should give her that, 'for free, at least’’ she continued, "I was gonna use this opportunity to ask’’ she added hinting at the massive success she has helped bring Disney.
Looking stern at the camera, Larson then made her wish clear to Disney, "Waiting for a Disney+ comped account," she said. "I've got multiple pieces of art on your streaming service, including one of my first and best roles I've ever done which is a film called Right on Track. It was a Disney Channel Original Movie’’ she added.
She also spoke about the events that made headlines last month when a proposal took place right in front of her at ACE Comic Con.
'Yeah, it was really sweet. It was my first time going to a con, as I've learned you call them, so I got to meet a lot of people, a lot of Captain Marvel fans,' she began.
'And in it, there was a proposal. This man came in, and the second he stood up next to me, he turned to his boyfriend and said, "I love you more than Captain Marvel," which was shocking to hear,' she added.
‘’I felt like I was in the middle of something I was not supposed to be in,' she added.
When Ellen asked if she was invited to the wedding, Larson said, 'I did not get that invite,' adding she, 'probably can't come but I just want the invitation.'
