Actress Demi Moore has made many heart-breaking revelations in her recently released memoir, Inside Out. The Charlie's Angels star that she was raped when she was 15 years old and that too with her mother's knowledge!
Detailing about the horrific account, Demi reveals one day she returned home to find an older man who had the key to her apartment was waiting for her in her room, reported US TV show Good Morning America. Not just that, DemiMoore in her memories further mentioned that she got to know from that man that her mother had sold her to him in exchange for $500,
Reading out an excerpt from Demi Moore's memoir in a recent episode, The TV show host said "It was rape. And a devastating betrayal, revealed by the man's cruel question: 'How does it feel to be wh**ed by your mother for $500?'"
When Demi was asked if she believes her mother, actually, accepted such an agreement, the 56-year-old actress told "I think, in my deep heart no. I don't think it was a straightforward transaction. But she still did give him the access, and put me in harm's way."
In her memoir, Demi Moore has written about many disturbing instances that she faced early in her life from dealing with parents who struggled with alcoholism and mental health issues to her becoming a drug addict.
Demi Moore revealed that her mother's tried to commit suicide for the first time when the actress was just 12 years old. She described it as her "life-changing moment" and said: "childhood was done" on the show.
After she learnt that the man who she knew to be her father wasn't her biological father, she consoled herself with the thought: "I wasn't wanted or I don't deserve to be here."
Earlier Demi has revealed that ex-husband Ashton Kutcher’s insistence on introducing multiple sexual partners into their marriage was a reason for their divorce. Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher split up in 2011 after Kutcher’s affair with his pilate instructor came to light.
