Chris Hemsworth, the god of Thunder has announced that he wants to lay down his Mjolnir for some time. The Australian hunk after 12 months of back-to-back filming, announced that he's taking a break from Hollywood for the remainder of this year to spend more time with his wife, Elsa Pataky, 43, and their young children, India Rose, 7, Sasha and Tristan, both 5.
Talking to the Sydney Daily Telegraph, Hemsworth said that he plans to spend more time in Byron Bay, the coastal town in northern New South Wales, Australia, where his family has been based for five years.Â

"This year I probably won't shoot anything. I just want to be at home now with my kids.
"They are at a very important age. They are still young and they are aware when I leave more than before’’ he added.
Hemsworth, who have appeared in some of Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters such as Thor and the Avengers franchise has been known to be a family-man, which is clearly obvious from titbits he reveals to his fans on social media.
Talking about spending time with his family, Hemsworth has also previously told GQ magazine in August 2018 that leaving his family to work overseas can often be difficult and distressing.  Adding how seven-year-old daughter India Rose always has a particularly tough time saying goodbye, the Thor star added,
'She's normally like, "Yeah, see you, daddy. Cool."
Hemsworth who is married to film producer, Elsa Pataky in 2010 shares three kids together- Â India, seven, and twin boys Sasha and Tristan, five.
