Chris Hemsworth has released a delete scene of him as Fat Thor singing Johnny Cash’s Hurt. The Australian actor appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night shared a video taken on the set of Avengers: Endgame which never made it to the big screen. The clip shows the god of Thunder in a worn-out state, complete with fake belly which Hemsworth had previously said he got a lot of cuddles.

As much as Hemsworth tried to exude Cash’s ‘Hurt’ emotion with his playful camera pain, we are taken aback by him singing and guitar strumming hidden skill.Â
"I didn't even know if I was ever going to show (the footage). It's the saddest song in the world. And I'm a terrible singer and a terrible guitarist’’ Hemsworth told Fallon, noting that it was filmed in his trailer between scenes.Â
The MIB actor also went to joke that the sad song helped him get into character for part as Fat Thor. And for those who have seen Avengers: Endgame, you know what he is taking about. Unlike the animatic Norse God in the Avengers franchise, in Endgame we see the God of Thunder drinking his health away, depressed and playing a whole lot of video games.
"What else (to sing) but Hurt, the Johnny Cash version?" said Fallon.
Hemsworth has appeared on the Jimmy Fallon show to promote his latest film Men in Black: International.
