Film alchemist Christopher Nolan is all set to make a new record with ‘Tenet’. The genius film maker also known for his utter secrecy revealed back in January that his new espionage movie is at the spinning wheel and now reports say that his movie, Tenet with an impressive list of casting is set to have a jaw-dropping record that will make it the most expensive original films of all time.
Tenet, which is currently shooting action sequences in Estonia, been described as a "massive, innovative, action blockbuster". With a description such as that just with little reveal of the movie, you know the budget of Nolan’s movie is going to make us sweat. Estonian Public Broadcasting reported that the film is said to be costing approximately $225m, which also makes it his second priciest behind The Dark Knight Rises ($230m).
The only other films that exceed it are Disney film Tangled ($260m) and James Cameron's record-breaking Avatar ($237m). Tenet will see the new Batman star Robert Pattinson, his ever-loyal butler, Michael Caine, John David Washington, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Kenneth Branagh, Clémence Poésy, Elizabeth Debicki and Dimple Kapadia.
Tenet hits the big screen July 2020.
