After Tom Hanks and James Bond actor Olga Kryelenko, COVID-19 has taken its toll on two more Hollywood celebs, actor and musician Idris Elba and Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju, both in their 40s.
Idris Elba revealed on Twitter Monday that he has tested positive for coronavirus.
"This morning I tested positive for COVID-19. I feel OK, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus," said his tweet. "Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing 👊ðŸÂ¾👊ðŸÂ¾ No panic." he continued as he asked his followers to stay safe.
According to the video Elba posted, he contaminated the disease by being in close contact with a person who was COVID-19 positive. After experiencing primary symptoms he self-quarantined himself and got tested which came as ‘positive’
"It sucks," he admitted. "Look, this is serious. Now's the time to really think about social distancing, washing your hands. Beyond that, there are people out there who are not showing symptoms that could easily spread it. So now's a real time to be really vigilant about washing your hands and keeping your distance." he said in the video.
