Discovery Channel will premiere a series titled ‘Real Stories of…’ on November 26 which will expose the true stories behind some of the most famous, Oscar-nominated movies of recent years like Donnie Brasco and American Sniper.Â
The series will distinguish fact from fiction in some of the biggest movies of recent times, basically telling the true stories behind some of the recent Oscar-nominated biopics and adaptations.Â
The series will air at 10 pm every Sunday on Discovery Channel, a statement issued by channel said.

"Blending dramatic reconstruction from the archive of actual events, eyewitness testimony, and documentary footage, the series 'Real Story Of...' picks up fact from fiction," the statement said.
The vice president and head of Premium & Digital Networks, South Asia, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, Zulfia Waris said, "The movies featured in the series are classics that have appealed audience across the world. The series will reveal interesting nuggets of information for the viewers.
"For instance, it isn't widely known that Donnie Brasco's character, an FBI agent (played by Johnny Depp), was supposed to be undercover for a few months but the actual time ended up being six years," she said.
The other movies that have been lined up for the series include 'Munich', 'Exodus' and 'Face Of An Angel'.Â
