After Will Smith and Martin Lawrence confirmed the Bad Boys 3 sequel last November, the detective comedy franchise will also see DJ Khaled among the crew. The long-awaited threequel, Bad Boys for Life made a return nearly 20 years after the first Bad Boys sequel made a huge wave, Actor Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have confirmed the much-awaited news.
Actor Joe Pantoliano, who portrays Captain Conrad Howard in the earlier two films, is also coming for the third part. Khaled, 43, joins newcomers Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton, Jacob Scipio, and Paola Nunez in the project.
The DJ, whose real name is Khaled Mohamed Khaled, shared the news on Twitter, saying, "Blessed to announce that I will be joining #WillSmith and #Martinlawrence in the cast of @badboys #BadBoysForLife movie."

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are directing the film from a script by Peter Craig. Joe Carnahan is doing a rewrite. Chris Bremmer is the current writer.
Hudgens, Ludwig, and Melton will play a modern, highly specialised police unit that collides with the old school Bad Boys when a new threat emerges in Miami.
Jerry Bruckheimer returns as producer. Doug Belgrad will also produce, as will Smith.
Barry Waldman, Mike Stenson, Chad Oman, and James Lassiter are executive producers. Bad Boys 3 known as Bad Boys For Life is underway and is to release on January 17, 2020. The filming of the movie is likely to begin this August.
