Dwayne Johnson has been named Forbes list of highest paid actor tailed by Chris Hemsworth and Iron Man star, Robert Downey Jr. According to Forbes, Johnson’s no.1 stop as the highest paid actor in 2019 credits for box office success movies like Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which had a worldwide box office of $962.1 million, the recently Fast and Furious spin-off, Fast & Hobbs & Shaw as well as the WWE-themed comedy-drama Fighting with My Family, made $89.4m (£73.7m) between 1 June, 2018 and 1 June, 2019.

Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr tails at no.2 and 3 spot thanks to their massive earnings from Avengers: Endgame which gathered over $2.796bn (£2,305bn) worldwide. Hemsworth as per the publication earned $76.4 m (£63m) over the past year, while Downey Jr made $66m (£54m).
Akshay Kumar who is also the only Indian star to make it to the top ten list made it to the no. 4 spot crossing just one million next to Robert Downey Jr. at $65m.
