Frozen 2 trailer is here as promised! Just a day after Disney unveiled another new Frozen 2 poster three months after its ’s first poster was released alongside a teaser video in February, the first official trailer of Frozen 2 just dropped and we are now get the picture as to why it took Disney 6 years to make a sequel because the Frozen 2 trailer is simply just a ball of ‘magic’.
The new trailer opens with Elsa trying to freeze-blast\ski her way across the ocean attempting to use her ice powers to create a bridge which she succeeds and also fails with the brief underwater-struggle. We are also introduced to what appears to be a whole new type of magic-a brand new magical creature, Nokk, a horse spirit that manifests through water.

Then the trolls appear and murmur vaguely about the past, before shifting the focus by apparently sending Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf on a journey “across the enchanted lands’’ where Elsa hides\encounters, Nokk – a “mythical water spirit that takes the form of a horse” and “uses the power of the ocean to guard the secrets of the forest”, the official synopsis states.
“We have always feared Elsa’s powers were too much for this world,” says the troll Pabbie (Ciaran Hinds). “Now we must hope they are enough.”
“I won’t let anything happen to her,” Anna vows.
All in all, the 1 min 54 seconds is nothing sort of lacking in ‘magic’ with Disney’s heavy focus on the atmospherics, light on the details we can only term breath-taking! Frozen 2 sees the return of the directors of the original movie, Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee.
The new voice cast welcomes Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K Brown, musical score is, as before, by Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Robert Lopez and the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, all returning from the 2013’s Frozen.
Frozen 2 scheduled to be released on November 22.
