It’s already a Christmas for all the Game Of Thrones fans! The most anticipated series will be back with its eighth season in April 2019 and before the fans could digest this big news; the makers have dropped an official teaser to raise the excitement exponentially. The GOT season 8 teaser promises every inch of excitement and much more than what was expected of it.
The battle of fire and ice will consume the frolic and profound darkness, the empires will break and the world will emerge amidst the mayhem. The 54-second-long teaser details the fight that gets darker till you see the dragon and dire wolf. The chilling theme song of GOT takes a scary turn as it hints towards the destruction of everything that people have been savouring, the relations that grew engaging, will now be finished off.
While the ice starts freezing the Targaryen Dragon and Stark Direwolf, fire, on the other hand, catches rage while coming across the Golden Lion of the Lannister.
Titled as Dragonstone, the teaser captures the glimpses of the two worlds – fire and ice. Dragonstone is a volcanic island in the Narrow Sea that guards the entrance to Blackwater Bay. The sea marks the connection to the east coast of Westeros. Before Daenerys Targaryen, the land was captured by Stannis Baratheon in his quest to claim the Iron Throne.
Here's the teaser of Game of Thrones Season 8:
The first look of GOT final season was revealed by the makers earlier in November. It looked like Jon and Dany are back together again! The featured picture, which is the first photo of Game of Thrones season 8, showed Kit Harington aka Jon Snow and Emilia Clarke aka Daenerys Targaryen huddled together against a snowy backdrop.
GOT's eighth and final season was taken on the sets in Northern Ireland, according to a report in Entertainment Weekly. Jon, stuck to dark hues since season one, retains the same dark leathers and furs while Dany has an upgrade of wardrobe.
The final season will have only six episodes. However, all six episodes in the season of the hit HBO show will have a runtime of over an hour. So, fans are finger-crossing and stars assuring that the wait will be worth it.
