Game of Thrones 8 season 3 which premiered on Sunday and saw one of the most epic battle scenes in the history of GOT surprisingly didn’t appeal fans as thought to be, despite the slain of the Night King. The long-awaited Battle of Winterfell with its ambitious scale and action-packed moments scored a relatively low 75 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes bceoming the second-worst ranked episode. “Winter is here and Arya Stark may officially be the baddest woman in the land, but despite delivering some epic and emotional moments "The Long Night" leaves a few things to be desired (lighting, anyone?) heading into the final stretch,” the quick note from Rotten Tomatoes read.

But hold on before you become dissatisfied with the relatively low 75 per cent because the worst ranked episode in GOT will even make the ‘mentioned’ score an even respectable one.

Season five, episode six titled ‘Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken’ ranks the lowest in the whole of GOT and has an abysmal percentage of just 54. To rewind the GOT history, the worst rank episode is the appalling rape scene of Sansa Stark by Ramsay Bolton which many critics felt that the ‘wedding night’ deviated from what was mentioned in the book criticising the film makers for their use of rape just for a tragic plot twist.

‘The long Night’ which now ranks the second lowest saw many fans stating that the episode and thanking ‘Drogon’, ‘Rhaegal’, and even the ‘moon’ to mock the episode in terms of lightning.  Other fans on the other hand showed disappointment over the fact that Arya had to be the one to slay the villainous Night King stating that the slain was made too easy for a force as powerful as the supervillain of the dead.
