It was on April 17, 2011 the first episode of Game of Thrones, one of the most popular series hit the TV screen. Unbelievable as it may sound, the George R. R Martin's book adaption for nearly a decade has grown with us, becoming a part of us and sometimes even associating the characters with ourselves. Despite the stooping reviews for the finale, we have it give in to the fact that Game of Thrones had us thoroughly entertained with the mushy world of Westeros. And just like one critic responding to the GoT finale said, ‘just because you don’t agree with the ending does not make it a bad series’ which is true in many regards.
Nearly a decade after sharing the screen together, Game of Thrones casts after ‘The Iron Throne’ united once again on the screen, and it would be an utter lie if we are to say that seeing the casts metamorphosed into adult actors didn’t make us nostalgic.

Appearing with host, Conon O’Brien, we saw the incredibly charming little clip of the young Game of Thrones casts mature right before our eyes. “Oh my gosh, I am in medieval times, it’s not 2009 anymore’’ the now 23-year-old Sphie Turner can be seen telling. The clip also shows Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams, who played the Stark sisters becoming the bestest of friends as Maisie says, ‘She’s my best friend. I mean, who else gets to go to work with their best friend?''. Then there’s also also Isaac Hempstead Wright at a time when he was but a wee Bran flake, and Kit Harington sporting the opposite of what he does now-going clean-shaven.
The reunion special which was hosted by Conan O'Brien will be released this December as part of Game of Thrones: The Complete Collection.
