Gary Oldman’s chart in villain roles have been limitless, and we are yet to get another one! From playing the brimstone, Count Dracula to the terrorist, Ivan Korshunov in Air Force One though that doesn’t exclude him from playing the good ones, most notably the cop James Gordon in Batman trilogy. However, given his astounding skill to turn himself into any persona, which mostly includes villains, it is always a blessing for us to see the Oscar Award winner in yet another villain role.
According to reports, Oldman is set to don his villainous gloves again, and this time in a UK action-thriller The Courier. The 60-year-old actor will star alongside Olga Kurylenko in the feature, which hails from Signature Films, the growing production arm of Brit distributor Signature Entertainment, and new banner Rollercoaster Angel Productions.

Kurylenko, 39, is best known for films such as Quantum of Solace, Oblivion and Hitman among others.
According to Deadline, the story follows a courier (Kurylenko) whose daily deliveries are interrupted when she discovers that her latest package is a bomb aimed at killing a witness who is about to testify against a ruthless crime lord (Oldman).
The film will be directed by Zackary Adler from a script by Andy Conway and Nicky Tate. Filming is set to start in London next month.
Marc Goldberg, James Edward Barker, David Haring and Andrew Prendergast will produce the film while Douglas Urbanski, Oldman's long-term producing partner, will serve as executive producer.
