Gwyneth Paltrow has been sued over 3.1 million after an allegation has been filed against the actor for allegedly breaking a man’s ribs and leaving him with a concussion when she smashed into him while skiing at a Utah ski resort in 2016. The man who filed the lawsuit, Terry Sanderson 72, a retired doctor claimed during a news conference in Salt Lake City that he heard a 'hysterical scream' and was then struck at Deer Valley Resort on 26 February 2016. An acquaintance at the scene Craig Ramon, who is reported to witness the event also claims that he saw Paltrow hit Terry.
In the lawsuit, Terry also alleged that Deer Valley ski instructor Eric Christiansen, who was accompanying Paltrow, did not call for help and later filed a report 'falsely' accusing Sanderson of causing the alleged accident.
As per reports, Sanderson is asking in excess of USD 3.1 million in damages from Paltrow, Christiansen and the Deer Valley resort.

He alleged that he suffered injuries including a "permanent traumatic brain injury", four broken ribs, pain, suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, emotional distress and disfigurement".
During a press conference on Tuesday, Sanderson said, "I remember feeling very sore, and my brain felt like novocaine, I felt really numb."

Heather Wilson, a representative of Paltrow, has, however, denied Sanderson's claims in a statement.
"This lawsuit is completely without merit. Anyone who reads the facts will realize that" she said.
