Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes? Yes please! According to Variety reports, the "Mission: Impossible - Fallout" star has been roped in to take on the iconic role of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes in Legendary’s Entertainment’s film adaptation of “Enola Homes,†starring ‘Stranger Things' star, Millie Bobby Brown.
The film is reportedly an adaptation of author Nancy Springer’s book series The Enola Holmes Mysteries, the adventures about detective Enola, Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes’ much younger sister who comes out as a highly capable detective much like his brothers Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes.
The first book, The Case of the Missing Marquess, came out in 2006. Author Nancy Springer has written the book series, which began with 2006's "The Case of the Missing Marquess in 2006".
Penned by Jack Thorne, Enola Holmes, which will also be co-produced by Millie Brown’s sister, Paige Brown under PCMA Productions is expected to go on floors this summer.
Cavill, 36 will meanwhile be seen in Netflix’s “The Witcher†series while Millie Brown was recently seen in Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
