Laura Dern is likely to share screen space with Meryl Streep and Emma Stone as going by the grapevine, the Hollywood actor is in talks to join Greta Gerwig’s Little Women.
Laura, the “Big Little Lies” star, will join Meryl Streep and Emma Stone in the Little Women, big screen adaptation of the Louisa May Alcott classic, according to Hollywood sources.

Laura will also get to reunite with Lady Bird cast Saoirse Ronan and Timothee Chalamet in Little Women, the sources said.
Lady Bird is Laura’s debut directorial. Florence Pugh and James Norton are also part of the cast.
Little Women is a story of four sisters - Amy, Jo, Beth and Meg and their mother in Civil War-era Massachusetts as they spend their first holiday without their father, a travelling minister.

Alcott’s book was last adapted into a feature in 1994, which starred Winona Ryder, Susan Sarandon, Claire Danes, Kirsten Dunst and Christian Bale. Many adaptations have been produced by Hollywood filmmakers.
