Avengers Endgame: Hugh Jackman will not have a cameo as Wolverine

For the next Avengers installment, there was an air of rumour that Hugh Jackman would have a cameo as Wolverine in the Avengers Endgame. And though Hugh Jackman had reaffirmed time and time again that he is but content to leave the role of Wolverine in the past a single Google search result proved otherwise, giving fans a glimpse of hope that the Logan star will reappear as Wolverine in the franchise of the Avengers Infinity War sequel. Jackman had also publicly stated that he was done with the role. In an interview with Screen Rant, he is asked "is this your last time as Logan?" and he replies with a simple "yeah."

The fact hence remains as to why Jackman pops up on Google search in Avengers: Endgame. This claim has, however, now been slammed by as fake news by MCU Cosmic’s Jeremy Conrad.

Regarding the Marvel fan and frequent leaker’s new post explains that Google’s results are simply based on what they find from crawling web pages, and that the unexpected inclusion of Endgame in Jackman’s filmography is the result of trolls deliberately messing with the results. Conrad went on to reassert that Google may have taken its information from a recent edit on Wikipedia, since Jackman’s page falsely claimed for a period of time that the actor will be playing “Wdam Warlock” in a “Post credit seen” of the Russo Brothers’ next film.

Avengers Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner, among others and is set to hit the theatres on April 26th, 2019.
