IT: Chapter Two has finally dropped! Continuing the adaption of the Stephen King book which was a hit both commercially and critically, the second chapter takes up fast forward to 2016, 27 years after the events of the first film, and will see the handsome Bill Skarsgård as the terrifying Pennywise who feeds on the fear of others while the members of the Losers Club all grown up now will see Bill Hader as Richie Tozier, Jay Ranscom as Ben Hansom, James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak and X-Men star James McAvoy as adult Bill Denborough.
The trailer opens with Beverly Marsh played by Jessica Chastain as an adult who goes back to revisit her old home to find out to be occupied by an old, innocent yet creepy woman. As the trailer unwinds, we see shadow in what looks like the clown lurking in the dark unbeknownst to Beverly. The trailer get creepier when Bev unsettled by the creepy look of the old man is suddenly interrupted when the old lady urges her to stay for some cookies the old dear has just baked.
We then see Bev trying to ease the tension as she made small talks asking the lady what her dad did when he first moved to Derry as she looked on at the old photograph when the old woman replies: "He worked at the circus." Will we be introduced to the evolution of Pennywise as the evil clown in this second chapter judging by the old photograph?
The trailer then climaxes with some creepy being jumping out from the dark at Bev, before we are cut off from the jump-scare and reintroduced to the rest of the now grown-up Losers Club.
