Tania Mallet, who played James Bond’s girl alongside Sean Connery in the 1964 classic Goldfinger has reportedly died at the age of 77. No further details have, however, been revealed about her death. Sharing the sad news on the demise of one their ‘girls’, the official James Bond took to Twitter account to share the devastating news.
"We are very sorry to hear that Tania Mallet who played Tilly Masterson in Goldfinger has passed away. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this sad time," the post read.

Mallet is the cousin of Academy Award-winning actress Helen Mirren who began her venture in the silver screens with an audition for the Bond girl Tatiana Romanova in From Russia with Love. While she did not end up with the role of Tatiana, she will later appear as Tilly Masterson opposite Sean Connery in the third James Bond film Goldfinger.
Fan site Bondstars.com also posted a tribute to the Bond girl on Twitter, writing, "Unfortunately we must share the very sad news that our dear friend Tania Mallet has sadly passed away.
"She was a very classy and beautiful lady inside and out’’, the post read.
