John Krasinski, the actor/director of the massive thriller movie, A Quiet Place is en route to make its sequel. The drama/thriller movie which is also the directorial debut of John that stars his wife, Emily Blunt which was a massive hit, has good news for fans. Recently in an interview with Variety, John said that he has already ‘mapped out’ the idea but is still in the writing process.
Paramount Pictures gives the Go-Signal for A Quiet Place sequel
“I’m writing it now,” Krasinski told Variety this Sunday at the 10th annual Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards.
The actor is all thrilled about the whole thing.

“I’ve mapped out an idea and hopefully it’s good enough to shoot … Paramount’s been unbelievably supportive and I’m just excited to have a second one and so we’ll see how it goes," he said.
The first original sequel of the thriller movie going second was written and directed by the 38-year-old actor. The film was a massive hit in the United States and in other countries likewise.
Given the fact that it is John Krasinski’s first, directorial debut, the actor cum director was praised by critics for its visuals and story.
The movie shows very good rankings in almost all the film rating websites and Paramount Pictures have also given a green lit for a sequel.

The actor was attending the 10th annual Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards to present his sound editors Erik Aadahl and Ethan Van der Ryn.
"Sound was everything to our movie. I couldn't have made this movie without them. Any sort of attention I get from the movie I owe to them. So I'm happy to be here for them," Krasinski said.
