John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum expected to dethrone Avengers: Endgame at box office this weekend

And while we are arguing if Avengers: Endgame will hit the mark of James Cameron's Avatar, the shadowy international assassin John Wick is expected to quietly take out the whole crew of the Avengers crew. Endgame which has enjoyed three straight weeks in the top spot at the box office amassing $1.2 billion at the global box office will have a tough fight against the silent assassin, John Wick in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. 

According to Business Insider reports, Keanu Reeves' John Wick is expected to rake in $40 million this weekend, with Endgame falling within the $30 million range. A new report from Deadline indicates that John Wick: Chapter 3 is set to make at least $55 million in it's opening weekend, tracking to beat Avengers: Endgame’s $30 million projection. 

BoxOffice Pro also anticipate that John Wick will pull in $52 million, with Endgame making $36 million.

John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum which is shooting the box office chart is enjoying an impressive 89 per cent critics’s score on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 157 reviews, and an audience score of 95 per cent based on 315 user ratings.

NPR's Chris Klimek who compared the action movie to "Mission: Impossible’’ series wrote, "John Wick: Chapter 3" has an 88% Rotten Tomatoes critic score, and critics have praised the movie's over-the-top action’’.

And with Director Chad Stahelski already teasing plans for future John Wick films in the works, it looks like retirement is far from over for the legendary hit man John Wick.
