New Delhi:

Mostly seen playing the funny-man in movies, Jonah Hill is reportedly in talks to play a baddie in Matt Reeves’ The Batman alongside Robert Pattinson. According to the sources, discussions between Warner Bros and Hill are at an “early and sensitive stage” as both parties can’t arrive at a decision as to which two Batman villains- The Riddler and The Penguin, among the many other villains Hill will play.

In addition to Hill taking on a villainous Batman role, another source claims that Westworld star Jeffrey Gordon is in talks to portray Commissioner Jim Gordon.

The latest gossip came just days after the new caped crusader, Pattinson teased that the film will be an ‘interesting direction’.

“I really like [director] Matt Reeves and his setup for it,”.

“It’s an interesting direction. It’s something from the comics which hasn’t really been explored yet. It’s crazy shoes to fill’’ Pattinson said of his new role as DC superhero.

Reeves’ The Batman is set for release on June 25, 2021.
