First trailer of much-awaited Hollywood blockbuster sequel Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom revealed on Thursday. It is the sequel of the 2015 release Jurassic World which managed to churn huge $1.6 billion worldwide.
In the two-and-half minute video, it is clear that the film will feature a huge volcanic eruption on the island of Isla Nublar, which became the habitat of Jurassic World dinosaurs after the theme park was shut down.
Claire Dearing, who was the park manager in the 2015 flick has founded a Dinosaur Protection Group and recruited Pratt’s Dinosaur trainer Owen Grady to help her protect them from getting extinct.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom features Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jeff Goldblum, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Geraldine Chaplin and Daniella Pineda.
The sequel is written by Trevorrow and Derek Connolly who also worked together in the first chapter. They are also known for creating the early drafts of Star Wars: Episode IX before being replaced by J.J. Abrams.
The movie is set to hit the theatres on June 22 next year in US and other countries and on June 8 in the United Kingdom along with other European countries. The release date of India is still not clear.
