Keira Knightley, Keeley Hawes to star in 'Misbehaviour'

Actors Keira Knightley and Keeley Hawes are set to showcase the fascinating real life story about Women's Liberal Movement's activists who strongly protested against the 1970 Miss World pageant in a new film - Misbehavior.

The 1970 Miss World pageant was famed for being the first to be won by a Black woman, which intensified the controversy as the judges' voting system was suspected to be rigged.

The 1970 Miss World pageant saw the newly formed Women’s Liberation Movement shoot to fame, the members of which took the stage by storm disrupting the live broadcast, hosted by Bob Hope, claiming that beauty competitions demeaned women.

The two actors will be seen as lead characters in the film to be directed by Philippa Lowthorpe. While Knightley and Jessie Buckley will act as members of the Women's Liberation Movement, Hawes will play the role of Miss World pageant executive Julia Morley. The 42-year-old actor was recently featured alongside Richard Madden in 'Bodyguard'.
