Basketball star Lamar Odom spoke publicly for the first time since his hospitalisation to support his former teammate Kobe Bryant.
The 36-year-old athlete appeared in a tribute video along with fellow players, teammates as well as coaches in honour of Bryant, reported Ace Showbiz.
“Bean what’s up, it’s your little brother LO,” Odom said in the clip, addressing the Los Angeles Lakers legend ahead of his final NBA game.
“Just want to tell you I love you. You got a great career. I’m proud to say that I was right there with you, Kobe Bean.” Lakers superfan Jack Nicholson also delivered a heartfelt message to Bryant, who has just retired.
“Kobe, goodbye. I think I may retire with ya. I’m not sure but it’s been great watching you. and I hope you enjoyed it half as much as me and my family have,” Nicholson said. “You have been an inspiration to us all and LA loves you.” On March 30, Odom attended his first NBA game since his hospitalisation last year.
