Luke Perry, best known for his role in Beverly Hills, 90210, Riverdale, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood has died at the age of 52, less than a week after suffering a massive stroke. According to reports, the actor was taken to the hospital on Wednesday in Los Angeles, where he had been shooting scenes for Riverdale at the Warner Bros film lot. Perry's children, Jack and Sophie, fiancée Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, and his siblings, Tom Perry and Amy Coder, were with him when he passed, publicist Arnold Robinson said in a statement.
Following the sudden death of the star, Hollywood town have expressed their sympathy and tribute to the very-much star whom many called as ‘the nicest guy’. Leonardo DiCaprio, who had once worked with the actor shared touching shared a touching tribute on social media in honor of the late actor, who died at age 52.
“Luke Perry was a kindhearted and incredibly talented artist,†began DiCaprio, who worked with Perry on the upcoming Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
“It was an honor to be able to work with him, “My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his loved ones.â€Â the Oscar-winning actor’s tweet continued.
