New Delhi:

The much-perambulated topic on which superhero could have taken down Thanos, the mad Titan single-handed with his end in Avengers: Endgame still lingers. Marvel head Kevin Feige is here to give a name of among all the names as the possible Thanos slayer. Speaking to ComicBook following the unveiling of Marvel Cinematic Universe phase 4, Kevin discussed on how Scarlet Witch aka Wanda Maximoff 's immense power could be an end of Thanos has he not snapped his fingers.

‘’Well, we got a Falcon and Winter Soldier show, we got a WandaVision show. We’re introducing Monica Rambeau in that WandaVision show…’ Feige said.

Noting that she ‘is probably near the upper echelons of power’, Feige contined ‘I contend she would have taken down Thanos if he hadn’t called the [army], it was done’.

Kevin Smith, the director of Clerks and Mallrats who, as per his tweet re-watched the Avengers twice following Endgame’s release on digital this week also second-hand agreed to Feige’s word.

“SPOILERS! Watched @Avengers twice today. Out of everyone who fought Thanos, Wanda came closest to killing him. If he didn’t call for the ‘Rain fire!’ then the Scarlet Witch would have butchered the Mad Titan. (Even though I turn 49 on Friday, shit like this still matters to me.),” Smith tweeted.

Much to our delight, MCU’S phase 4 is all set to give Wanda played by Elizabeth Olsen all the attention she deserves. Olsen’s character Wanda not only be starring in her own Disney+ series, WandaVision, alongside Paul Bettany aka Vision and will also appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
