In July Marvel Studios announced its fourth phase with Black widow standalone and first female Thor and now to intensify its girl power more and recently at its D23 Expo announced that its first  Muslim superhero with Ms. Marvel

Marvel head Kevin Feige came at Disney's ultimate fan event D23 Expo at US state California with many surprises, out of which "Ms. Marvel" was one and garnered loud cheers from the crowd present.

Ms Marvel will be making her debut on streaming platform Disney+, which will launch internationally on November 12.

After making her debut as a lead superhero with Disney+ she will join other superheroes in Marvel movies, Feige announced, adding: "It is incredibly exciting for us."

Ms. Marvel will revolve on the life of a teenager named Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American from New Jersey, who can stretch and change shape.

The project will be helmed by Bisha K. Ali.  Taking to their Instagram handle, Marvel Studios shared the news digitally too in the caption that read, “Just announced at #D23Expo, MS. MARVEL, an original series from Marvel Studios, only on Disney+ (sic).”

The project is in early development and no timeline or cast has been set. Last year Marvel ventured into the LGBTQ+ territory by announcing that a gay character coming up in one of their films. Later it was revealed that Richard Madden, the acclaimed actor of films like Rocketman and the HBO series Game of Thrones will play an openly gay character in The Eternals. By bringing a Muslim woman superhero, Marvel is reaffirming its agenda on inclusivity.
