It was Ayn Rand's first and the book was released way back in 1943. 'The Fountainhead' inspired many. Now, the delight and pride, and favourite of many avid readers, is set to come alive on big screen.

Buzz is, filmmaker Zack Snyder is gearing up to roll out his next directorial venture 'The Fountainhead', an adaptation of the 1943 philosophical fiction by the Russian-American author.

Snyder made the exciting revelation in response to a question from a fan on Vero - a social-media site.

'The Fountainhead', Rand's first novel, was made into a 1949 movie directed by King Vidor, starring Gary Cooper and Patricia Neal.

'Justice League', was Snyder's last film that he directed and produced with wife Deborah Snyder.
