Avengers: Endgame considered to be one of the biggest blockbuster superhero movies till date was even the forerunner at the MTV Movie & TV Awards. The award show which took off on Monday saw Shazam star Zachary Levi as an animated host. Dominating this year’s nominations with four apiece were front runners “Avengers: Endgame’’ which took home the evening’s best movie award, and “Game of Thrones,” which won best show and ‘’Surviving R. Kelly” in the Best Documentary.

Here is a list of all the Avengers wins at the MTV Movie & TV Awards 2019:

Best Movie-Avengers: Endgame emerged the winner against other three nominators-‘BlacKkKlansman, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and “Us’.

Best Hero- Robert Downey Jr. aka Tony Stark/Iron Man was crowned the best Hero against Brie Larson (Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel) – “Captain Marvel”, John David Washington (Ron Stallworth) – “BlacKkKlansman”, Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) – “Game of Thrones” and Zachary Levi (Billy Batson/Shazam) – “Shazam!”

Best Villain: Josh Brolin (Thanos) – “Avengers: Endgame” was declared the winner against Jodie Comer (Villanelle) – “Killing Eve”, Joseph Fiennes (Commander Fred Waterford) – “The Handmaid’s Tale”, Lupita Nyong’o (Red) – “Us” and Penn Badgley (Joe Goldberg) – “You”

Best Fight: Captain Marvel – Captain Marvel vs. Minn-Erva was declared the winner against Avengers: Endgame” – Captain America vs. Thanos, “Game of Thrones” – Arya Stark vs. the White Walkers, “RBG” – Ruth Bader Ginsburg vs. Inequality and “WWE Wrestlemania” – Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair

This year, the MTV Movie & TV Awards 2019 also saw the introduction of three new categories: reality royalty (“Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta”), most meme-able moment (“The Bachelor”) and best real-life hero (Ruth Bader Ginsburg) in addition to the show’s new tradition.
