Priyanka Chopra celebrated her 37th birthday on July 18 with her husband Nick Jonas and family. From dazzling in a shimmery red dress to chilling on a yacht in Miami, the actress was seen having great fun with her favourite people around. The Bollywood diva was treated to a five-tier red and gold glittery birthday cake.Â
And as per a report in Pinkvilla, Nick spent Rs 3,45,000 for the cake. Talking to the website, the cake artists revealed, "Nick wanted it red and gold since Priyanka was wearing a red dress and she loves gold details." The report further states that it took 24 hours to bake and decorate the multi-layered cake.
Priyanka also took to her Instagram to share pictures from her grand birthday bash.Â
It was during her birthday when photos of Priyanka smoking went viral. Netizens slammed her for being 'hypocritical' as she had earlier said she was asthmatic. When her cousin Parineeti Chopra was asked to comment on this, she chose to remain silent. "I respond by saying that I have no right to answer this question, so I won't," she told IndiaToday.in.
On the work front, the gorgeous actress will finally be back on the silver screen with Shonali Bose's next directorial project, The Sky Is Pink. Along with Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf, the film is slated to release this October. The film is based on the life of late motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis.
