Robert Pattinson to play Batman (Photo: Instagram)
From a sexy vampire to Batman, Robert Pattinson’s cloaks don’t seem all that bad. It looks like the previous fan theories suggesting the sexy vampire Edward Cullen as the choice for the bad-ass millionaire of Gotham which they edited with a picture of Pattinson against a wall in a polished fancy suit, with his shadow taking the form of his alter ego's silhouette, Batman might come true for once. According to a source of Variety, Robert Pattinson is in talks to play the “The Batman” in Matt Revees’ forthcoming superhero film, which hits theaters June 25, 2021.
A choice that I never would have thought to try but been hearing some background chatter about Robert Pattinson being looked at, if the talks (source) are true then all of our predictions were wrong 👀😁 This might be your new Bruce #thebatman #batman pic.twitter.com/cNDKeRBzyb— BossLogic (@Bosslogic) February 3, 2019
Reports also add that Reeves who is behind the Planet of the Apes took the seat of the director of the standalone film after Ben Affleck hung up his Batman suit in January 2017 following “Justice League,” which he confirmed and tweeted saying that he is excited to see Reeves' vision of the film "come to life." So I thought it was time to let someone else take a shot at it and they got some really good people’’ he had then tweeted.
While there hasn’t been a head-up confirmation from Warner Bros, we can definitely see Pattinson transition from the sex symbol to a bat symbol.
Pre-production on the Warner Bros.-DC Comics pic is expected to start this summer.
