Robin Wright will receive Gold Star career honour at this year's Marrakech Film Festival. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the House of Cards star will be recognised for her film and television work and efforts for charitable organisations in the Congo.
"I'm thrilled to be visiting the country of Morocco and grateful to be given this opportunity to experience the Moroccan culture," Wright said.
Her acting credits also include The Princess Bride and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
Besides the actor, iconic French New Wave director Agnes Varda will also receive the Gold Star career award.

Varda, 90, received her first Oscar nomination for Faces, Places last year.
As previously announced, the festival will also honour Robert De Niro and The Lost City of Z director James Gray will serve as head of the jury.
The Marrakech Film Festival is set to run November 30-December 8.
