'Ruby in Paradise' actress Ashley Judd to pen down new memoir

'Ruby in Paradise' actress Ashley Judd was one of the first people who opened up about Harvey Weinstein's sexual misconduct. The beautiful actress is reportedly writing a new memoir where she will talk about her experiences in Hollywood.

In her first memoir, "All That Is Bitter & Sweet", 49- year-old actor talked about her dysfunctional childhood and her struggle with depression.

She also revealed that she was molested by an older man when she was a child.

Judd recently went on record to describe her meeting with Weinstein in the first expose by The New York Times. She said the disgraced producer had called her to his hotel room and offered to give her a massage and eventually propositioned her.

Judd said he asked her whether she would watch him take a shower? "I said no, a lot of ways, a lot of times, and he always came back at me with some new ask. It was all this bargaining, this coercive bargaining," she said.

Judd said escaped the situation and went on to star in two Weinstein films - without any reports of such encounters. In 2015, without naming the media mogul, the actor shared the incident to Variety.

According to PageSix, the new manuscript has sparked a bidding war, and sources say the actor could get an advance of more than USD 1 million.
