Scooby-Doo remake is finally happening! The cast of the much-loved American animated franchise, comprising many animated television series produced from 1969 to the present day will leave you even more excited. Recently, there were reports that Zac Efron and Amanda Seyfried had onboard the new Warner Bros reboot, Scoob’ to play the franchise's power couple, Fred and Daphne and now new reports from Deadline, in an even more exciting news of cast reports that Mark Wahlberg and Jason Isaacs have been roped in for the feature film.
According to Deadline, Wahlberg will play the Blue Falcon, a superhero from the Hanna-Barbera canon who in the past has teamed with Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Gang to fight against one of his arch-enemies, Mr. Hyde. Blue Falcon’s right hand was Dynomutt, who in the feature animated pic will be voiced by Ken Jeong.
Isaacs will meanwhile play the villain, Dick Dastardly, who is reported to be the main baddie in Scoob.
With Wahlberg as the voice of Blue Falcon, Isaacs as the moustache-twirling, Dick Dastardly joining the already announced voice cast of Zac Efron (Fred), Amanda Seyfried (Daphne), Gina Rodriguez (Velma), Will Forte (Shaggy), Tracy Morgan (Captain Caveman), Frank Welker (Scooby-Doo) and Kiersey Clemons (Dee Dee Skyes), we are counting down the days for May 2020 of next year.
