Singer Selena Gomez recently delivered a speech where she talked about her life-saving kidney transplant operation.
In May 2017, the 26-year-old singer had undergone a procedure, for which her best friend Francia Raisa donated her own kidney.
The singer had hosted WE Day, an annual gathering from the non-profit organisation which aims to unite youth in order to create a better world in April 2018.

Recently, a video from the event was shared by the organisation on its official Twitter handle.
Gomez was present along with Nellie Mainor, an eight-year-old survivor who was once diagnosed with a rare kidney disease.
The singer lauded Mainor for her efforts in spreading awareness about the disease, while also opening up about her health struggles.
