Hollywood actor Skylar Astin has rubbished the reports of him doing the much awaited musical comedy 'Pitch Perfect 3'.
The movie happens to be the third instalment of the popular franchise and Astin has been a part of the its two instalments.
Clearing the air about the same, the actor took it to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, "As of now, the Trebles and I wont be in the third Pitch Perfect movie. They seem to be taking the story in a different direction".

Astins Jesse, along with fellow Treblemakers Bumper (Adam Devine) and Benji (Ben Platt), continually competed against Barden Universitys all-female a cappella group the Bellas, among others, through the films.
Additional details on the plot have not been released, but stars Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, and Anna Camp are confirmed to return.
"Orange is the New Black" actress Ruby Rose also recently joined the film, which will be directed by Trish Sie, the helmer of "Step Up All In".
It is set to hit the US theaters on December 22, next year.Â
