Body double mishap! X-Men:Dark Phoenix star Sophie Turner and hubby Joe Jonas’ perfect relationship might have also undergone some super awkward moments. Talking about her new movie Dark Phoenix, Sophie revealed that Joe nearly planted a kiss on her stunt double during Game of Thrones finale shoot.
“On Game of Thrones, I had a photo double who people would do double takes at because she looks so much like me. It was insane. Even Joe went up to her at one point and tried to give her a kiss, and then he was like, ‘Oh, sorry, sorry! It’s not Sophie!’’ she told an Australian podcast.
The 23-year-old, who played Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, added that it was a case of mistaken identity unlikely to happen again. For her recent release, Dark Phoenix where she also used a stunt double, Sophie jokingly added some physical aspects that made her different from the double and Joe unlikely to commit the mistake again.
“I had a stunt double for some of the stuff — I actually had two,” Turner said. “My first one broke her ankle I think, but they are truly amazing! They do all the heavy lifting for me, and I just fly and wiggle my fingers around. They don’t really look like me, first of all, they are much fitter, have much more muscle and just better looking aesthetically in general,” she joked.
And with that, we would really like to see Sophie Turner’s double body who nearly tricked Joe into believing she is his Mrs. Jonas.
