Opting for a career in filmmaking albeit only for adults, Steven Spielberg’s daughter Mikaela reveals that she has launched a career as an adult entertainer, self-producing solo videos. In an interview with The Sun, the 23-year-old adopted daughter of the Lincoln director and wife Kate Capshaw opened up about how she was abused as a child forcing her to grow up with anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, alcoholism, body-confidence issues and eating disorders.
The abuse, according to Mikaela came “from outside my family and not from anybody of notable presence – just from scumbag monsters who were looking at my vulnerability and going: ‘That’s the one’”.
“I suffered a lot of grooming,” she told the daily.
“I feel like the abuse I went through wasn’t super intense, but it still had long-lasting impact, because it had me questioning “What is my body? What is it to have a body and exist in a body safely? Also, what is it to be an emotional human being and not have it taken advantage of?”
As for her decision to become an adult entertainer which dad Spielberg is ok with, which doesn’t come as a surprise to her, she added
‘He always loved that I was super unique and he’s literally like an angel. He’s always loved that I know exactly what I want. And you know, we’ve had our conflicts, but he always has loved the way my brain functions and he really nurtured that for me… he just loves to nurture my creativity and my identity in a way that I find really life affirming’.
Mikaela initially announced the news on social media, writing to her followers: ‘I just launched my self produced adult entertainment career. Safe, sane, consensual is the goal y’all. My body, my life, my income, my choice. I owe not a single person my autonomy or virtue just because of a name.’
As her new career in adult entertainment begins, Mikaela has selected Sugar Star as her stage name. She recently also posted a series of videos online but took them down temporarily as she waits for her Tennessee sex worker license to be approved.
