Anyone remember Cuff and Link, the two turtles from Sylvester Stallone’s real-life inspired film Rocky? As it turns out Stallone, who is already an established animal lover with his tissue-grabbing story about himself and bull mastiff named Butkus, who appeared in Rocky and Rocky II in 1979 until his passing away in 1981 apparently also kept the two turtles from the movie and they just turned 44! Sylvester Stallone, 72 uploaded a picture of himself with the has two hard-shelled pals on their 44th birthday.

Cuff and Link who were first introduced to us in the 1976 movie Rocky as he showed them love interest Adrian Pennino (Talia Shire) as, “the exotic animals I was telling you about. These are my friends, Cuff and Link,†have in fact gotten to star in other Stallone movies. The two turtles made a comeback to the big screens in Stallone’s 2018 film Creed II.
