Thinking Out Loud: Ed Sheeran sued over copyright infringement

Singer Ed Sheeran has been sued for allegedly copying his hit “Thinking Out Loud”.

Marvin Gaye and Ed Townsend, who co-wrote the 1973 classic song, “Let’s Get It On,” are suing the pop singer for copyright infringement, reported an entertainment magazine.

In June the 25-year-old Grammy-winning singer was hit with a lawsuit by Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard, and their publishing company HaloSongs, who alleged that his “Photograph” is a copy of their 2009 song “Amazing.”

The single was sung by Matt Cardle, the winner of the 2010 season of “The X Factor”.
