Who knew Game of Thrones would even have a very close linkage with the British comic icon, Charlie Chaplin! Well, you do now! The comic legend Charlie Chaplin, best known for his Tramp avatar as the man with baggy, capri-like pants with a tight coat, a small hat, a goofy mustache he made famous with his big boat shoes is directly related to Oona Castilla Chaplin. In case you didn’t know, Oona is the actress who played the gorgeous nurse, Talisa Maegyr who wins Robb Stark's heart eventually becoming his wife is Charlie Chaplin's granddaughter.

Oona, is the daughter of Geraldine, one of the eight daughters of Chaplin and Oona O’Neill also the fourth wife of Chaplin after his third marriages to Mildred Harris, then to Lita Grey, then to Paulette Goddard, and finally to Oona.

The Game of Thrones actress was eventually named after her grandmother Oona O’Neil. The GOT star has in fact starred in a variety of Spanish and English television shows and movies even appearing in on an episode of Sherlock as Jeanette, Dr. John Watson’s girlfriend.

For 11 episodes, Oona played Talisa Maegyr in GOT then appeared in the Black Mirror series and the Nicholas Sparks movie The Longest Ride. Hollywood Reporter also adds that The Black Mirror actress is now all set to play Varang, 'a strong and vibrant central character who spans the entire length of the instalments' in James Cameron’s Avatar 2.
